Abstract

This research is limited to weave on technological innovation and its social function, allowing you to think about the importance given to the social function when there is technological innovation, respect the interests and benefits of society. Directly or indirectly technology is stepping into many areas of society. This expansion has fostered the development of research in the context of the use of technology, whether in education, industry, environment, health etc., to disclosing the benefits and use. We present here some concepts of technology and technological innovation, aimed at analyzing the social function of technological innovation, based on the initial assumption that technologies are tools of thoughts which fall within the social process in terms of its features and functionalities. The methodological approach was qualitative research interpretative and deductive nature. In the procedure method of field is used to indirectly documentary technique, such as the literature, law, science and internet article.
