| Resumo : | O estudo da representatividade social dos caixeiros nos anos iniciais do século XX será desenvolvido a partir da história de suas associações e da imprensa escrita, que servia de veículo para divulgação dos propósitos, reivindicações e queixas dos auxiliares do comércio sergipano. Por esse motivo, os objetivos deste trabalho estão voltados a averiguar os propósitos desses trabalhadores com a veiculação do periódico A Classe (1921-1922), bem como em situar a categoria em seu contexto específico e compreender em qual camada social ela estava inserida. Além disso, e levando-se em consideração a particularidade da fonte em análise, a metodologia consistirá na análise discursiva das matérias selecionadas, as quais nortearão o tema proposto. Para tanto, recorreremos à fonte já mencionada e a autores que tratam sobre o desenvolvimento da imprensa escrita no Brasil, como também nos apoiaremos em trabalhos de estudiosos que se ocuparam com a realidade nacional e sergipana nos anos 1920 e nas pesquisas daqueles que se atentaram para as especificidades do grupo de trabalhadores investigado |
| Abstract: | The study of the social representation of the clerks in the early years of the 20th century will be developed from the story of their associations and the written press, which served as a vehicle for disseminating the purposes, claims and complaints from trade helper Sergipe. For this reason, the objectives of this study are to investigate the purposes of these workers with the journal serving the class (1921-1922), as well as placing a category in your particular context and understand what social layer she was inserted. Furthermore, and taking into account the particularity of the fonts in the analysis, the methodology will consist of the discursive analysis of selected materials, which will dominate the theme proposed. To this end, we appeal to the aforementioned source and authors that deal with the development of the written press in Brazil, as well as support in the works of scholars that if occupied with national reality and Sergipe in the years 1920 and in the polls of those who started for the specifics of the Group of workers investigated |
