| Resumo : | Esse estudo tem como objetivo mostrar o surgimento do teatro negro no Brasil, sua chegada a Sergipe e o grupo mais destacado da atualidade no Estado, o Um Quê de Negritude. Além disso, será apresentada a sua trajetória, a forma que a religião africana é apresentada para a sociedade através de suas peças teatrais e como ocorre a preparação coreográfica para as apresentações. Buscar-se-á mostrar uma temática quase ausente dos cânones oficiais da história artística e cultural do Estado de Sergipe e do Brasil. Mesmo existindo uma grande experiência no teatro negro do século XX, pelo Teatro Experimental Negro - TEN (presente na década de 1940 e 1950) podemos observar o esquecimento dessa obra que enfocou a trajetória do teatro negro brasileiro. É importante refletirmos sobre como foi construída essa cultura afro-brasileira em Sergipe, para que possamos compreender um pouco mais sobre a identidade cultural desse Estado |
| Abstract: | This study aims to show the emergence of black theater in Brazil, its arrival in Sergipe and the most prominent group of today in the State, the Um Quê de Negritude. In addition, it will present its trajectory, the form that African religion is presented to society through its plays and how the choreographic preparation for the presentations occurs. We will search show a theme almost absent from the official canons of the artistic and cultural history of the State of Sergipe and Brazil. Even if there was a great experience in the black theater of the 20th century, the Teatro Experimental Negro - TEN (present in the 1940s and 1950s) we can observe the forgetting of this work that focused on the trajectory of Brazilian black theater. It is important to reflect on how this Afro-Brazilian culture was constructed in Sergipe, so that we can understand a little more about the cultural identity of that State |
