dc.description.abstract	The external and internal morphological aspects of fruits and seeds were described and illustrated, as well as the germination process and external morphology of seedlings of baru (Dipteryx alata Vogel). This study was carried out in the Laboratory of Plant Propagation and greenhouse. The morphological characteristics can be used in taxonomy, laboratory and nursery work and natural regeneration studies.	eng

dc.description.resumo	Descreveram-se e ilustraram-se os aspectos da morfologia externa e interna do fruto e da semente, o processo de germinação e a morfologia externa da plântula e muda do baru (Dipteryx alata Vogel.). O estudo foi realizado no Laboratório de Propagação de Plantas e em Casa de Vegetação. O conhecimento das características morfológicas da espécie pode ser empregado na taxonomia, em trabalhos de laboratório, no viveiro e também em estudos de regeneração natural.	pt_BR
