Abstract

Some questions are raised around the restorations performed in endodontically treated teeth, as these become usually more fragile than the living teeth and, consequently, more susceptible to fracture. Some literatures recommend the reinforcement of these teeth with intrarradicular nuclei, with the purpose of supporting the restorations and preventing the fracture, through the reinforcement that it seemed to provide to the roots. The use of intraradical retainer has called attention to the dissipation of tensions caused by the establishment of the same and the speculations of the extent to which these dental elements become more resistant to root fracture and how these tensions can be The point of being reversed in such a way that they do not cause a harmful effect on the tooth. The finite element method has enabled this study.
