Análise bibliométrica da representatividade feminina negra em revistas brasileiras de moda

Abstract

The article has the objective to show the incidence of black women on magazine covers. To achieve it, a descriptive and qualitative research was made on: Claudia, Glamour, Manequim, Marie Claire, TPM and Vogue Brasil, from 2018 to 2020. The bibliometric survey in 182 covers pointed out 133 white models, 43 black models and 6 from anothers races. The Claudia Magazine has the most number of publications, however, the Vogue Brasil published more black women in its covers and the actress, Taís Araújo, one of the black models, was outstanding. Through the measured possibilitities, the conclusion was that the black models are less supported and there is a preference for media personalities.
