Pinkwashing israelense : invocação de Direitos Humanos LGBTQIA+ e a estratégia do estado de Israel de desviar a atenção sobre o confronto colonial mantido contra Palestinos

Abstract

The present work proposes to analyze how Israel strategically uses the invocation of LGBTQIA+ human rights in its territory for queer academics to accuse it of committing Pinkwashing. It is assumed that its reputation is tarnished due to the colonial confrontation maintained until today since its establishment against the Palestinians, which results in human rights violations and in disobedience to UN resolutions and the Geneva Conventions. That said, the research will seek to identify that Israel tries to promote its international image with Brand Israel and the use of the invocation of LGBTQIA+ human rights in its territory with a view to reversing this stain.
