Biblioteca digital de história da educação: um artefato criado para divulgação científica

Abstract

From the perspective of Cultural History, this text is insert in the History of Education and in the History of the Book and its relationship whit digital technologies, with the aim to analyze the importance of the Digital Library of the History of Education as a research artifact through dissemination scientific literature that circulated in Brazil from the 19th century onwards. The theoretical-methodological framework is anchored in Ginzburg (2007), whit the evidential method, in Nascimento (2007), to deal whit Protestant printed material, in Porto (2009), through the processes of scientific dissemination, and in Faria Filho (2000), for the dealing whit the relationship of the History of Education whit new technologies. Therefore, the Digital Library of the History of Education was created to disseminate historical documentation and contribute to the expansion of scientific research. Access to information of a pedagogical and religious nature will be available to researchers who have been leaning towards knowing more about the elements debated by literature from a remote time, in which the printed material became one of the main means of communication.
