A representação da mulher na expografia do Palácio Museu Olímpio Campos em Aracaju/SE

Abstract

The present research consists of analyzing the presence of the representation of women in the expography of the Palácio Museu Olímpio Campos in the city of Aracaju/SE from between the lines to the long-term exhibition. To arrive at this analysis, documents for internal use of the institution were used, an interview with the person responsible for assembling the exhibition. The research sought to highlight the absence of women in the Olímpio Campos Museum, and how this generates an impact on society, including for Sergipe women in not feeling represented in a mostly male environment. Given this, how museums and museology can contribute to diversity within memory spaces.
