dc.description.abstract	Women have an important role within the context of Brazilian family farming, not only in the expression of the workforce within the productive organization, but also influence issues related to their own political modeling and the search for actions that will contribute to development family farming in the country. The general objective is to understand the role played by women in the context of Brazilian family farming. The outline of the theme of this work is justified given its importance in revealing aspects related to Brazilian family farming, especially the role played by women in the organization and systematic of collective work in the field. For the methodology, theoretical reviews were carried out based on the conceptions outlined in the development of the research, with scientific articles, books and electronic journals being consulted as a basis for reading and understanding, in addition, research was carried out in the EMBRAPA database, IBGE and the results of the Agricultural Census of verified between 1970 and 2017, highlighting the panorama of small rural properties and the number of people working in family farming, especially women, with the data being organized in the form of graphs with subsequent analysis. In this way, it is a qualitative research. Objectively, in the last census of 2017, the number of farmers dropped to just over 10 million, this fact can be understood by urban growth and the difficulties present in rural areas. In general terms, the Brazilian countryside has undergone intense resignifications, among them, one of the most intense is the increasing presence of women within the organization of work on small rural properties, which directly and indirectly affects the structuring of activities carried out within of family units, needing public policies to support this situation.	eng

dc.description.resumo	A mulher tem um importante papel dentro do contexto da agricultura familiar brasileira, não apenas na expressão da força de trabalho dentro da organização produtiva, mas também exerce influência nas questões relacionadas à própria modelagem política e na busca por ações que venham a contribuir para o desenvolvimento da agricultura familiar no país. Como objetivo geral visa-se entender o papel exercido pela mulher no contexto da agricultura familiar brasileira. Justifica-se o delineamento da temática deste trabalho diante da sua importância em revelar aspectos relacionados com a agricultura familiar brasileira, em especial ao papel exercido pelas mulheres dentro da organização e sistemática do trabalho coletivo no campo. Para a metodologia, foram realizadas revisões teóricas a partir das concepções delineadas no desenvolvimento da pesquisa, sendo consultados artigos científicos, livros e revistas eletrônicas como base de leitura e compreensão, além disso, foi realizadas pesquisas na base de dados da EMBRAPA, IBGE e nos resultados dos Censos Agropecuários realizados entre 1970 e 2017, destacando o panorama das pequenas propriedades rurais e o quantitativo de pessoas exercendo o trabalho na agricultura familiar, em especial as mulheres, sendo organizados os dados em forma de gráfico com posterior análise. Trata-se dessa forma de uma pesquisa de ordem qualitativa. Objetivamente no último censo que foi o de 2017, a quantidade de agricultores caiu para pouco mais de 10 milhões, tal fato pode ser entendido pelo crescimento urbano e as dificuldades presentes no meio rural. Em linhas gerais, o campo brasileiro tem sofrido intensas ressignificações, dentre elas, uma das mais intensas se trata da presença cada vez maior das mulheres dentro da organização do trabalho nas pequenas propriedades rurais, o que repercute direta e indiretamente na estruturação das atividades realizadas dentro das unidades familiares, necessitando de políticas públicas para suporte a tal situação.	pt_BR
