| Resumo: | O presente trabalho visa analisar um dos aspectos da cultura plural e multifacetada da cidade de Lagarto/SE: o teatro. Focando nas memórias de integrantes e de alguns espectadores referentes as suas experiências de vida e a primeira apresentação pública da Companhia de Teatro Cobras & Lagartos. O fenômeno teatral na cidade não é algo novo e nem foi estabelecido por esta Cia. Contudo, a partir de sua fundação, ações e componentes, ele foi impulsionado de formas até então nunca vistas na cidade e gerou frutos atuantes e consolidados na cultura, chegando a se caracterizar como principal representante do teatro do interior sergipano. Contudo, não ficou somente nos limites da cidade, pois expandiu-se para o Estado e chegou a conquistar um prêmio de âmbito nacional, se tornando, também Ponto de Cultura financiado pelo Ministério da Cultura do Brasil. O período estudado, compreendido principalmente pelas fontes utilizadas, possibilita a análise da conformação e para isso precisamos conhecer os caminhos de sua concepção e como ele debutou, apresentando-se pela primeira vez publicamente. Trata-se de um fenômeno da memória social que ocorreu no ano de 2003. Não se pretende discorrer narrativamente e de maneira processual o objeto desta pesquisa, apresentando datas e acontecimentos em uma demarcação temporal com começo e fim. A intenção é conhecer, e assim buscar compreender, os elementos e histórias interconectadas que ao se condensarem, culminaram na Cia de teatro Cobras & Lagartos. É, desse modo, uma pesquisa de história social do teatro, construída por meio da análise das memórias, documentos e transcriação de entrevistas semiestruturadas com base na história de vida, tendo a História Oral como principal técnica para captação de fontes, e os fundamentos do Paradigma Indiciário, a maneira de auxílio à interpretação de algumas falas e/ou manifestações opacas, como metodologias primordiais para busca de características e indícios que permitam melhor compreender esse fenômeno histórico. |
| Abstract: | The present work aims to analyze one of the aspects of the plural and multifaceted culture of the city of Lagarto/SE: the theater. Focusing on the memories of members and some spectators referring to their life experiences and the first public presentation of the Cobras & Lagartos Theater Company. The theatrical phenomenon in the city is not something new and was not established by this Company. However, from its foundation, actions and components, it was driven in ways never seen before in the city and generated active and consolidated results in the culture, coming to be characterized as the main representative of the theater in the interior of Sergipe. However, it did not stay just within the city limits, as it expanded to the state and even won a national award, also becoming a Ponto de Cultura financed by the Ministry of Culture of Brazil. The period studied, understood mainly by the sources used, allows the analysis of the conformation and for that we need to know the paths of its conception and how it debuted, presenting itself for the first time publicly. It is a phenomenon of social memory that occurred in 2003. It is not intended to discuss the object of this research in a narrative and procedural way, presenting dates and events in a temporal demarcation with a beginning and an end. The intention is to know, and thus seek to understand, the interconnected elements and stories that, when condensed, culminated in the theater company Cobras & Lagartos. It is, therefore, a research on the social history of theater, built through the analysis of memories, documents and the transcreation of semi-structured interviews based on life history, with Oral History as the main technique for capturing sources, and the fundamentals of Evidence Paradigm, the way to aid the interpretation of some speeches and/or opaque manifestations, as primordial methodologies for the search for characteristics and indications that allow a better understanding of this historical phenomenon. |
