Elaboração de uma fonte segura de informações na realidade da Covid-19 e das fake news

Abstract

Pests, epidemics and pandemics, side by side with disinformation, follow the history of man. Today, given the Covid-19 scenario, the situation is not different. Along with the information provided by official agencies and sources, the population is being bombarded by information from various sources, without scientific basis. Some of them are extremely harmful to the population: the fake News. Some disseminated out of ignorance, others out of malice. The same was observed during the black plague and the flu of 1918. Thus, this study searched for doubts and erroneous information about SARS-CoV-2 and Covid-19 with the population to develop an information leaflet. The leaflet generated with this content was created exclusively with information obtained from official sources, and is being distributed coupled with the Covid-19 Bulletin, edited and distributed by the Federal University of Sergipe on a weekly basis and delivered to the Health Secretariat of Itabaiana city for the same purpose.
