Odontologia estética minimamente invasiva para mascarar mancha branca hipoplásica

Abstract

White spot on the buccal surface of anterior teeth, whether hypoplastic, fluorotic or carious, can affect with the smile's aesthetics. Thus, there is a need for the development and improvement of minimally invasive treatments that improve a satisfactory aesthetic results for these spots, with minimal possible wear on the dental structure. The objective o this case report is to present a case report of white spot lesion on anterior tooth with minimally invasive techniques – microabrasion and resin infiltrant – quickly and effectively. The patient had a white spot lesion on the upper left central incisor (21), in which the conservative treatment proposed and performed was the association of microabrasion with 37% phosphoric acid and pumice and subsequent application of Infiltrant (Icon® - DMG). The result was a satisfactory esthetic resolution with minimal loss of enamel and patient satisfaction.
