Exploração do trabalho infantil : medidas de enfrentamento - uma abordagem na Escola Municipal Aroaldo Chagas

Abstract

This intervention project aims to identify and analyze the exploitation of child labor, diagnosing it at a school in the municipality of Carira, State of Sergipe. It also seeks to outline effective measures to try to avoid the problem by creating efficient interventionist ideas. Initially, we made an approach to the educational process in Brazil, the role of education and the relationship between teaching and learning. Delimit this work by making a site survey, which consisted in identifying children and adolescents who are being violated in their fundamental rights in this case exploited through child labor. The defense in this type of exploitation is expressed both in the Constitution of the country, and the Charter of Human Rights. The survey was conducted in the School Unit (Municipal School Aroaldo Chagas) and the Guardian Council of the aforementioned municipality, through an interview, which consisted of questions about the number of students who were performing no activities consistent with their age group and the measures taken to try to remedy the problem. The research has made an important analysis of the exploitation of child labor, then addressed the legal institutions that defend children and adolescents, citing the law with regard to this issue. The legal framework approached it is the national and international order which express on their devices to defend the rights of children and adolescents against the abuse of the law violators of human rights and of fundamental rights of the Constitution. It is understood as exploitation of child labor a cultural imprint of action that has as its ultimate goal to help families economically, since, they are in extreme poverty and thus, end up directing the children to perform work activities, to help the family diet. After the bibliographical analysis (historical and legal) and local approach emerged interventionist ideas and practices that can be taken towards the eradication of child exploitation, and this is through awareness of these children and adolescents. The intervention will be implemented at a later time and may be carried out by means of a workshop, where students will have the opportunity to learn about the issue and their rights. The survey was conducted through interviews and literature review. It concludes that poverty and misery are important factors for the perpetuation of the violation of children and youth rights. Investments in education, efficient public policies and more effective legal interventions are undoubtedly the first steps to eradicate this social illness.
