Os desafios da inclusão da criança autista na escola regular

Abstract

This study addresses issues related to the challenges of including children with Autism Spectrum Disorder (ASD), aiming to understand this specificity and educational policies aimed at inclusive education. A qualitative methodological approach was used, with a bibliographic procedure and, from the point of view of its objective, it is exploratory. This article is configured as a source of study for other academics, and can be consulted for knowledge and clarification on how to live with and help children with ASD. In Brazil there are several normative laws that determine the inclusive education of people with some type of disability. It was found that many actions need to be taken for the law to leave the paper and change the reality of children with disabilities through inclusion.
