Utilização do método AHP para definir o melhor arranjo físico de uma linha de produção em uma indústria metalúrgica no Rio de Janeiro

Abstract

The present article focuses on the use of the AHP method, hierarchical analysis of processes, to direct the best physical arrangement option of a screw and nut painting production line in an industry in Rio de Janeiro, showing mathematically the best path to the decision maker, and minimizing the stakeholder interests of those involved in formulating the investment decision. The AHP used in this work was oriented by virtue of the physical arrangement that presents the best variables for the organization, justifying the investment application for the layout that presents the best reduction in cost and greater increase of monthly and annual production, respecting the final quality of the product and positively impacting on the reduction of material movement during the process of painting, storage and shipment of orders, where in the end it was possible to define the arrangement option that represents the largest revenue increase for the organization.
