A Revista Cajueiro é editada pelo PLENA: Grupo de Pesquisa em Leitura, Escrita e Narrativa, em formato eletrônico. É publicada pelo Sistema Eletrônico de Editoração de Revistas da Universidade Federal de Sergipe. Se trata de um periódico científico semestral, que tem como objetivo principal promover a difusão, democratização e fortalecimento das pesquisas em Ciência da Informação, com ênfase na contemplação dos objetos e objetivos referentes à formação de leitores e da cultura da leitura, em todos os seus aspectos e ambientes sociais, assim como observar as repercussões positivas dos hábitos e gostos leitores na sociedade. Visa também ampliar o diálogo com a comunidade científica internacional e contribuir para o desenvolvimento da sociedade, nos caminhos da leitura.

Cajueiro Magazine is edited by PLENA: Research Group on Reading, Writing and Narrative, in electronic format. It is published by the Electronic System of Publishing of Magazines of the Federal University of Sergipe. It is a semiannual scientific journal whose main objective is to promote the diffusion, democratization and strengthening of research in Information Science, with an emphasis on the contemplation of objects and objectives related to the formation of readers and the culture of reading, in all its aspects and social environments, as well as to observe the positive repercussions of habits and readers' tastes in society. It also aims to broaden the dialogue with the international scientific community and contribute to the development of society in the paths of reading.
