Uma análise da construção da narratividade processual na peça Auto da compadecida, de Ariano Suassuna

Abstract

This monograph, which is part of the field called Law and Literature, more specifically Law in Literature, has the intention to analyze the construction of the procedural narrativity in Auto da Compadecida (2018), by Ariano Suassuna. This option is justified by the importance of this literary work and linguistic studies for the comprising of Law as a social interpretative practice. The method used was the bibliographic study. Concerning to the structure, the work was d ivided into two parts: the first one brings some comments about the need of accomplish interdisciplinary studies; the origin and development of the Law and Literature movement; the contribution of literature to the jurists; and, finally, presents an overvi ew of the work. The second part starts with the presentation of dialogic relations as interpretative pillars to the work; the study carries on with notes about the similarities between the Court of Manuel and the institute of Jury Court; finally, an approa ch of the subjects of the process was taken the "sertanejos", the "Compadecida", the "Encourado" and "Manuel" and their respective narratives.
