Representações sociais do processo saúde-doença entre nefrologistas e pacientes renais crônicos

Abstract

Esta pesquisa propõe-se a analisar as Representações Sociais do processo saúde-doença que permeiam a relação entre médicos nefrologistas e pacientes renais crônicos. Para tal, procurou-se delinear os conceitos incorporados por estes médicos e pacientes através da Análise de Conteúdo de Bardin, fazendo-se em seguida uma análise quanti-qualitativa dos dados objetivando-se investigar o conteúdo dos discursos destes atores sociais referentes às concepções de saúde, doença e tratamento clínico. Elaboraram-se gráficos contendo as porcentagens quantificadas destas concepções no intuito de serem analisados os dados mais relevantes no estudo. Ao final, observou-se uma dissonância entre as Representações Sociais quando são enfatizadas as concepções sobre saúde e doença que influenciam nos objetivos, posturas, adesão ao tratamento e forma de lidar com a doença, tanto por parte dos médicos como dos pacientes. As Representações Sociais delineadas nesta pesquisa não tiveram reciprocidade na comunicação destes dois atores quando dialogam sobre o mesmo objeto: o processo saúde-doença._________________________________________________________________________________________ ABSTRACT: This study provides to analyze the Social Representations of health-disease process, which permeate the relations between nephrologists and patients with end-stage renal disease. It tried to delineate the concepts that physicians and patients through the Bardin's Analysis Method, following by a quantitative and a qualitative analysis in order to investigate the contents of these social actors speech concerned to notions of health, disease and clinical treatment. Graphics were developed with the analyzed percentages of these concepts to plan the analyze of the more important informations of this study. In conclusion, there is a disagreement between Social Representations when emphasized the conceptions about health and disease, which acts on the purposes, postures, treatment adherence and the way to work with the disease by the physician and by the patient. The Social Representations didn't have reciprocity at communication between actors about the same objects: health-disease process.
