Abstract

In this work, we will deal with the development of written comprehension in Spanish as an foreign language, starting with the use and creation of online teaching material offered in the Written Comprehension Course in Spanish Language for UFS students in the distance learning. In the social constructivist theory, it is assumed that students help each other with the knowledge that each one has and with the collaboration offered by the teacher in collaborative activities developed in the virtual environment that lead the student to reach the competence of written comprehension in a foreign language. A language teaching practice that adjusts to the needs of the students involves mediating the use of DICT. The inclusion of technologies in the teaching material adjusts to the students' reality, employing a new resource for the conscious and autonomous acquisition of reading.
