As práticas dos professores do AEE com a tecnologia assistiva da rede pública do Município De Paripiranga- Bahia

Abstract

The role of teacher in the Multifunctional Resource Room is varied due to the different disabilities and needs of the students. For effective inclusion, it is crucial that the Specialized Educational Assistance (SEA) teacher is in constant training, incorporating Assistive Technology into their practices. Assistive Technology acts as a tool that promotes the inclusion of students with special needs while also driving learning and autonomy development.Therefore, the aim of this research is to understand the practices of SEA teachers using Assistive Technology in the public school network of Paripiranga, Bahia.The methodological approach adopted was qualitative and descriptive, combined with bibliographical research. The semi-structured interview was used as the data collection instrument. The research results reveal that the use of AT in the educational context goes beyond the function of assisting students in completing tasks, because through its tools, the student with special needs becomes the protagonist of their learning. Thus, AT represents a path that offers teachers support for inclusion in the classroom, as well as producing elements to facilitate entry and positive mediation for the learning of students with special needs.
