Precarização irrestrita : impactos da contrarreforma trabalhista nas condições de trabalho de assistentes sociais na política de saúde em Sergipe

Abstract

This study investigates the unrestricted precarization and the impacts of the Labor CounterReform on the working conditions of social workers in the health policy sector in Sergipe, Brazil. The need for this research arises from the fact that Social Work, as a profession embedded in the socio-technical division of labor, is directly affected by processes of precarization. The general objective is to understand the working conditions of social workers in Sergipe’s health policy context in light of the Labor Counter-Reform. Specific objectives include: analyzing working conditions in Brazil and Sergipe following the Labor CounterReform; contextualizing Brazil’s health policy in relation to the professional work of social workers; and problematizing the working conditions of social workers in Sergipe’s health policy sector. This research is bibliographic and documental in nature, using both quantitative and qualitative approaches, and is primarily theoretical. The results indicate that the Labor Counter-Reform and the advance of the neoliberal model have intensified the precarization of social workers’ labor conditions in Sergipe’s health policy sector.
