| Resumo : | Os Núcleos de Inovação Tecnológica (NIT) são escritórios que buscam a transferência de tecnologia entre o meio acadêmico e a indústria, possibilitando às empresas protegerem seu ativo intelectual e comercializarem seus inventos. Este trabalho teve como objetivo apresentar o número de registro de patentes provindas das Universidades Federais da região Nordeste. O levantamento feito através dos dados fornecidos pela base de dados do Instituto Nacional de Propriedade Industrial (INPI), através do depósito de patentes por cada Instituição de Ensino Superior Federal (IESF), buscou estabelecer uma relação com o crescimento regional. A pesquisa evidenciou a necessidade de maiores investimentos e incentivo à cultura da inovação tecnológica nas regiões priorizadas. |
| Abstract: | The Centers for Technological Innovation are offices seeking technology transfer between academia and industry, enabling businesses to protect intellectual assets and market inventions. This study aimed to present the patent registration number stemmed from the Federal Universities in the Northeast of Brazil. The survey done by the data supplied by the National Institute database of Industrial Property (INPI) , through the patent filing by each institution of federal higher education, sought to establish a relationship with the regional growth. The research highlighted the need for greater investment and encouraging the culture of technological innovation in these priority regions. |
