Informática na educação: qual a concepção?

Abstract

The present work presents the results of a research carried out in a School of the State Network of Sergipe, in Aracaju. The research aimed to investigate the application of ICT in the school's computer laboratory, for this, we went to the school - twice - to observe the practice of using the laboratory by teachers and students, in the midst of our observation, we asked some questions to both involved. The motivation for the research arose from the emergence of investigating the application of ICT in Education and, from this perspective, to know about the theoretical conception of Informatics in Education for Education in the researched context. Finally, what is the question: Informatics in Education or Education with Informatics? Such questioning was the anchor that guided the research problem, important due to the emergence of discussing the insertion of TIC in Education. For the research methodology, we defined it to be of a qualitative nature and we appropriated the theoretical bets of the exploratory and descriptive approach. The research was not submitted to any ethics committee, we only had the authorization of the school, teachers and students to carry it out.
