Direito ao desenvolvimento: Agenda 2030 e a efetivação do objetivo fundamental de erradicação da pobreza no Brasil

Abstract

This article, through the study of the right to development in the national and international area, intends to analyze the guidelines used by the United Nations to eradicate poverty, a fundamental objective from the 1988 Federal Constitution. Briefly, the public policies implemented during the achievement of the United Nations Millennium Agenda by 2015 were verified, the advances resulting from the initiative in the Brazilian context, and the main challenges to be overcome in the 2030 Agenda. To this end, the inductive approach method was used, through the collection and analysis of statistical data, bibliographic and documentary research on the subject.
