Base Nacional Comum Curricular : dialogando com professores de Educação Física

Abstract

The present research had as main objective to reflect on the National Curricular Common Base (BNCC) and to describe what some Physical Education teachers in the state of Sergipe think about this proposal. At the methodological level, this is an educational research with a descriptive qualitative approach, using as a data production tool a semi-structured questionnaire with ten Physical Education teachers from the public network of the state of Sergipe. After analyzing and discussing the data produced, the main findings were: most of the teachers surveyed do not see the base as a main priority in the current situation of the Brazilian educational system, since there are other demands that need to be considered. Concerning expectations regarding BNCC, most teachers understand the standardization of content, proposed at the bottom, as a positive point. Regarding educational institutions, they carried out actions to disseminate the information and debates about the BNCC in a timid manner, not favoring the monitoring and critical debate of the creation and implementation process, making it difficult to follow the process of creation and implementation of the database. Given this context, we emphasize that research has helped to reflect on educational public policies and the ways in which they are constructed and implemented, coming from a historical construction and with that many of those who will directly operationalize them, these policies are afraid. What brings us to a teaching profile that participates and is part of the processes of construction of educational policies, following the direction of our education.
