| Resumo : | O objetivo desta dissertação é apresentar com nuances os resultados obtidos em [9], no qual estuda o problema de prescrever as curvaturas escalar e média em variedades Riemannianas com fronteira aM e de dimensão n ≥ 3 através de métricas conformes. Este é um problema variacional cuja análise está atrelada a uma relação entre as funções que queremos prescrever como curvaturas escalar e média. Esta relação é dada por uma certa função Dn definida na fronteira aM. Se Db < 1, a solução é encontrada através de minimização de um certo funcional. O caso em que Dn > 1 em algum ponto, é necessário uma análise de blow-up. Neste caso, alguns resultados são obtidos apenas para dimensão 3. |
| Abstract: | The objective of this dissertation is to present with nuances the results obtained in [9], in which it studies the problem of prescribing the scalar and mean curvatures in Riemannian manifolds with boundary aM and dimension n ≥ 3 through of conformal metrics. This is a variational problem whose analysis is linked to a relationship between the functions that we want to prescribe as scalar and mean curvatures. This relationship is given by a certain function Dn defined on the boundary aM. If Dn < 1, the solution is found through minimization of a certain functional. The case where Dn > 1 at some point requires a blow-up analysis. In this case, some results are only obtained for dimension 3. |
